SEAN ALEXANDER, P.E.
President
Mr. Alexander has over 20 years of experience working on large scale mechanical engineering projects within the New York City infrastructure market. He brings extensive knowledge and experience within mechanical public works projects to Welkin Mechanical, including recent projects such as managing the $183 million NYCDEP Hunts Point contract and the $299 million NYCDEP Tallman Island WPCP contracts. Most recently, he managed the $45 million NYCDEP Bowery Bay WWTP contract. Mr. Alexander is a licensed professional engineer in New York. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
KEVIN KHEMRAJ
Vice President
Mr. Khemraj has over 15 years of experience in New York City public works contracting, including experience working on some of the highest profile mechanical projects in the New York infrastructure market. He has a proven track record of seamlessly orchestrating complex installations for multiple projects from inception to completion, with budgets in excess of $150 million. His responsibilities include all phases of construction, including estimating, scheduling, procurement, engineering and management of field activities for multiple projects. Mr. Khemraj is proficient in building and managing vendor relationships for services and products, and he has earned a reputation for exceeding corporate objectives while controlling costs and improving efficiencies. In addition to construction, he manages companywide recruitment and corporate planning, leadership mentoring initiatives and heads the drafting and design department. Kevin earned his BS in Civil Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
SAM DAVIS
Chief Estimator
Mr. Davis has over 10 years of experience in the heavy civil and mechanical construction industry, specializing in water and wastewater public works projects as well as commercial plumbing and mechanical work. As Chief Estimator at Welkin, Mr. Davis is responsible for the successful execution of the pre-construction process, including management of all cost estimates and bid submissions as a prime contractor, subcontractor, and joint venture participant for standard design-bid-build and design-build projects. Sam’s duties also include developing client relationships, as well as building relationships within the construction industry. Prior to joining Welkin, he worked as a project manager and estimator in the Metro Detroit region primarily on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Sam is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Michigan and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.
KYLE DOYLE

Mr. Doyle has over 10 years of experience managing all aspects of major public works projects in the New York City area. With an emphasis on dependability and driving results, he has cultivated strong working relationships with all of Welkin’s major clients, while demonstrating an ability to effectively coordinate the design and installation of intricate systems. He has developed a reputation as a reliable, detail-oriented leader, and has directed numerous projects to a successful conclusion. Through his work in construction management, he has extensive experience in the procurement of major equipment & subcontractors, project scheduling, design, cost management, logistics, and talent development. Kyle earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
CHRIS POULOS

Mr. Poulos has over 10 years of experience managing and executing all aspects of large-scale mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects in the NYC / Tri-State area. Chris has a proven track record for completing some of Welkin’s most extensive public works projects. With his construction management and technical experience, Chris has developed the trust of clients and colleagues to construct even the most complex builds. Most recently, his projects include contracts with NYCDEP and DCAS, totaling over $80 million. His responsibilities consist of developing project budgets and schedules, procuring subcontractors and equipment, estimating, and managing field operations. Chris received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College.

STEVEN CLARK
Director of Safety
Mr. Clark brings over 13 years of experience in construction safety and quality. He joined Welkin Mechanical in 2012 and has served in various safety and quality management roles, performing site inspections, compliance audits and field verification of safety practices. In his current position as Director of Safety, Steven develops and implements corporate safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. He also conducts safety audits and oversees companywide compliance with those policies, as well as all federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules. He serves as risk manager and is responsible for overseeing OSHA recordkeeping and reporting. Prior to Welkin, Mr. Clark served as a project engineer and CSS on various public infrastructure projects throughout New York City. Steven holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University on Long Island, New York.
